CANCELLATION POLICY
PART A
All classes are scheduled with a forward-looking approach, reflecting planned training sessions. However, life’s unpredictability may sometimes necessitate cancellations. Such cancellations, when deemed necessary, are at the instructor’s discretion to ensure the best outcome for everyone involved. Factors that may warrant a cancellation include, but are not limited to:
Should any of these circumstances arise, participants will receive a credit applicable to a future class date or alternative offering.
PART B
1. Commitment to Firearms Education and Training Student registration for firearms education and training is a significant commitment, as expenses are advanced on behalf of prospective students upon registration. Seats and materials are paid for in advance to ensure readiness for the student's arrival and to streamline administrative processes. However, the instructor reserves the right to cancel a class if circumstances arise that could compromise its educational or training value. Such decisions are made in the best interest of the students and all participants involved. Situations warranting cancellation may include, but are not limited to:
2. Cancellations of Classes Requiring Live Range Training Classes involving live training or shooting on the range may be cancelled due to conditions such as hazardous or severe weather (e.g., snow, sleet, hail, torrential rain, or flooded training grounds) that make outdoor training impractical. Such decisions are made with the safety and best interests of students and participants in mind. In these cases, registration fees will be credited toward a future class or scheduled offering, as natural events and Acts of God are beyond our control. Sound decision-making in such instances ensures a safer training environment for everyone.
3. Classes Without Live Range Components In contrast, scheduled classes that do not require live range training or shooting may proceed, provided the classroom environment is conducive to education and simulation-based training. These sessions can continue as planned since no outdoor or live-fire components are necessary.
PART C
1. Space-Available Enrollment for Firearms Training Enrollment for firearms training courses is conducted on a Space-Available basis, as class capacity is limited by factors such as venue size, range conditions, and the availability of appropriately qualified personnel to facilitate safe and effective instruction. Once a course has reached its maximum capacity, additional registrants cannot be accommodated at this particular and will have to register for an upcoming or future class.
Failure to cancel enrollment prior to the class date or failure to attend the scheduled session may result in a missed opportunity for another individual to utilize the available slot. To prevent such occurrences, prospective students are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review the course description(s), adequately prepare for their training, and ensure that all required equipment is in their possession prior to attending the course. Should clarification or guidance be required, students are advised to contact the instructor in advance.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Students must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to their scheduled class date in the event of a cancellation. This notice allows for the rescheduling of the student to a future course or class date. It is recognized that unforeseen and significant circumstances—such as personal illness, family emergencies, or other substantial life events—may hinder a student’s ability to attend the training session. In such instances, students are requested to notify the instructor within the designated 48-hour period to ensure their registration fee is credited toward a future class or offering.
However, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to provide any notification, will result in the forfeiture of the opportunity to reschedule. Consequently, effective communication with the instructor regarding any foreseeable conflicts is essential to maintaining flexibility in scheduling.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
1. Class Rescheduling by Instructor In the event that a scheduled class is rescheduled by the instructor due to conditions outlined in the Cancellation Policy, students will be provided the opportunity to enroll in an upcoming or future class date.
2. Definition of "No Shows" A "No Show" is defined as a registered student who fails to notify the instructor in advance of their intent to miss the scheduled course start time, fails to request the cancellation or rescheduling of their session, or does not attend the scheduled class without prior communication. Students classified as "No Shows" will not be eligible for course transfers or rescheduling.
REFUND POLICY
OTHER POLICIES:
SAFETY FIRST!
In all that we do, it is incumbent upon every participant to be vigilant, adhere to, and promote safety any and every where possible! Safey is job-one.
SAFETY VIOLATIONS:
Safety Briefing and Enforcement Each class begins with a comprehensive Safety Briefing, which is also conducted prior to any activities on the shooting range. Throughout the training session, the Safety Rules will be consistently emphasized to ensure adherence and understanding.
Any violation of the Safety Rules or Range Policies and Procedures, following a warning will result in the immediate dismissal of the student from the training session. Rescheduling or make-up opportunities will not be offered under such circumstances.
THE TRAINING CONTINUUM:
Training Continuation and Weather Preparedness Training sessions will proceed regardless of weather conditions, except in cases where hazardous circumstances arise. In the event of inclement weather, it is essential for participants to bring appropriate clothing and gear suitable for the weather conditions. The same requirement applies during cooler or colder seasons—please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the environment.
Students are required to wear weather- and range-appropriate footwear designed for outdoor use, along with clothing that adequately protects the skin from exposure to hot brass casings and propellant (gunpowder) residue. Open-toe shoes, flip-flops, or sandals are strictly prohibited on the range without exception.
Safety remains our highest priority.
CLASSROOM:
STUDENTS MUST LEAVE ALL GUNS AND LIVE AMMUNITION SECURED IN THEIR LOCKED VEHICLE UNLESS OR UNTIL SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCTED TO RETRIEVE THEM.
RANGE:
PLEASE READ AND COMPLY WITH ALL RANGE RULES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES.
FAILURE TO TRAIN:
Dismissal for Unsafe Practices Students who, after receiving instruction and achieving an acceptable level of proficiency, willfully and repeatedly demonstrate improper firearm handling or engage in unsafe or irresponsible behavior will be immediately dismissed from the training premises. Rescheduling opportunities will not be provided under these circumstances. This policy is enforced without exceptions. Safety is job-one.
MISBEHAVIOR:
Prohibition of Reckless and Unsafe Behavior Horseplay and reckless conduct are strictly forbidden. Any student displaying immature or irrational behavior, or suspected of being under the influence of intoxicants, will be immediately barred from participating in training activities and will be expelled from the premises. This policy is enforced without exceptions, and no rescheduling opportunities will be provided. Safety is job-one.
SPECIAL NEEDS:
Students with special needs are required to bring the necessary equipment or items to accommodate their specific requirements. Be ready for your training event. This includes water, food, and any prescribed medications that are non-intoxicating and non-mind-altering, ensuring they can fully participate in the training event. However, any medication—regardless of its lawful prescription status—that affects a student's mental state, judgment, coordination, or concentration is strictly prohibited during training. No exceptions will be made. Safety is job-one.
